The 1^st Dinochrome Brigade

The very existence of these five Regimental Combat Teams is a closely guarded secret. Acting as the ultimate dark-operations unit, the Dinochrome Brigade is sent on the sort of missions that do not officially happen; its members are not registered members of the Outer Colonies Defence Force. Indeed, every piece of equipment they have, from uniforms to BattleMech’s and even JumpShip’s are as generic as possible, often changing from mission to mission, making it almost impossible to track their movements.

Each RCT consists of the following: one Mech regiment of 120 Mech’s, three Armoured regiments totalling 324 tanks, five Infantry regiments (two Battle Armoured, three mechanised), an aerospace wing of twenty fighters and an integrated artillery battalion.

Used only when overt military action is, for whatever reason, not an option, the Dinochrome Brigade is considered by the Council of Eleven to be the ultimate stick to threaten hostile powers with.
