Editorial: The Search For the Northern Passage to the Inner Lands
Dennis Crenshaw
Editor

Lately I've been getting a lot of e-mail asking for my views in regards to the planned expedition in search of the hole-at-the pole.
http://www.voyagehollowearth.com/
Or: http://www.ourhollowearth.com/index.html

After being involved in several debates in our sites "Phroum" I've decided it's time to voice my opinion.

First, I want to say I applaud Rodney and those who are working so very hard planning and preparing for every possibility so that, no matter what, this will be an enjoyable and educational experience for all who are fortunate enough to be a member of this expedition..  I believe the organizers of this expedition to be honorable men who are only interested in the truth.  As we all are.
Evidence points towards several Polar Expeditions in the past as having had a secret mission to search for the Northern Passage to the Inner Lands, but never before has an Expedition of any kind been organized "completely out in the open" to look for precisely that.  To be a part of that Expedition would be a high honor.  To experience the conditions in the polar region; to see the actual hazards the great arctic explorers of the past had to overcome firsthand; to feel the cold artic wind in your face; to feel the spirits of those very few brave and adventurous souls who have been there before you.  What an adventure.
Of course the price of passage is what stops most of us from this dream trip, including myself.  But that doesn't mean it's not a fair price.  The cost of putting this together, leasing the icebreaker etc. will gobble up most of the income as fast as it comes in.  So, if you can afford it, I urge you to go.  You can become part of Hollow Earth Lore.

As for the chances of anyone finding the entrance to the Inner Lands I am sorry to say I seriously doubt it.  As I have stated for years in my writings and during radio and TV interviews, it is my belief that both polar entrances, if they exist, have been hidden using alien technology long ago.  I also believe that any modern ship's officers will depend so much on the government controlled GPS system to tell them where they are, that it will make any findings during the search non-conclusive.   Of course I hope I'm wrong.

However, the bottom line is.  No matter what the members of this historical expedition in search of the Entrance to the Hollow Earth find, they will, one and all; have earned their place as heroes in the history of the belief of an Inner World.  And that is as it should be.

Here is a Reprinted of my article from The Hollow Earth Insider Research Report, Volume 2  #3 Feb, 1994, addressing  the government control of the GPS system.

Research Update
Last Issue (THEI Volume 2 #2, "Cruisin' The Pole") I addressed those new "ultimate adventure" companies and others offering to take you to the mythical magnetic pole and the long sought geographical pole.  As I mentioned these new entrepreneur's whole business is based on using the GPS or Global Positioning System satellites.

The following article appeared in the January 1994 issue of "Discover" magazine under the byline of Robert Naeye.

"The Right Place and Time"

"Forty years ago, the following scenario would have seemed straight out of science fiction; you switch on a small electronic gizmo and instantaneously you read out your latitude, longitude, and altitude; the time within a microsecond; and your velocity to a fraction of a mile per hour.
"Yesterday's Si-fi is now reality.  Last June 26 the US. Air Force launched a Nevstar satellite into orbit, bringing to a close a 15-year effort to complete the Global Positioning System - a constellation of 24 satellites.  GPS is already used by the military and civilians to obtain precise information for air, land and sea navigation already use GPS.  With this final piece in place, "We now have 24 hour, worldwide, three-dimensional coverage, and "says USAF Major David Thurston."

Me. Naeye then explains how the system works, writing; "By honing in on four satellites at once, a GSP receiver (which can be had for as little as $600) does two things simultaneously: it synchronizes its own clock with those on the satellites and calculates the distance to each satellite from the time it took the radio signal to reach the receiver.  The distance measurements give the receiver a precise fix on its position.
"The satellites emit two sets of radio signals, one for military users and one for civilians. The Air Force which controls GPS from Falcon air Force Base in Colorado, intentionally degrades the timing and positional information that is offered to civilian users.

And further into this revealing article Mr. Naeye reported; "During wartime the Air Force can degrade the civilian channel even further,

If you buy into one of polar excursions and then take your host word for where you are I don't think you'll actually know where you are, but I'll bet the government will know exactly where you are.

The only way to be assured you are where you want to be is by using the old instruments to calculate your position using the sun or stars or both. Unless that is done before several witnesses who know how to operate those instruments then you are trusting the US government to tell you where you are.  In a search for an opening into the inner earth do you really think a GPS reading can be trusted?  If so I have some Florida water front property I'd like to sell you.

 THE ESSA-7 "HOLE-AT-THE-POLE" PHOTO

Ray Palmer's  presented what he claimed was the first photographic evidence of a hole at the pole on the cover of his "Flying Saucers" magazine in February 1971.  It has been a controversy ever since.  Thanks to "Michael" here is that famous ESSA-7 satellite photo(s).

Of course, if a person took the time they might find more compelling photos themselves.  Here's a good place to start your own research:

LOWEST FLIGHT EVER

From Ananova News Service comes a story that covers two of my major interests --- heavier-than-air craft and the inside of the earth.

Balloonists claimed record for lowest flight:

A group of Ukrainian balloonists claim to have set the world record for the lowest ever balloon flight by setting off in an underground mining shaft.

BOOKS

During our first trip to Houston Texas to meet Pete Navarro and start my research on Dellschau, my late wife Betty and I decided to make a side trip to Arkansas.  Our goal was to meet with one of the most outspoken writers on Conspiracies, UFOs and the Hollow Earth of all time, Mrs. Norma Cox.  I had spent many wonderful evenings talking with Norma on the phone and, while we strongly disagreed on several issues, she is an excellent debater. When she invited us to visit her in her home in the beautiful Ozark Mountains we jumped at the chance.
What an amazing woman.  She had been a very close friend of Richard Shaver who lived just down the road.  She had been a meticulous researcher and prolific writer throughout most of her life and had only quit because of failing eyesight.
We talked till well into the night about all of the stuff that interested us both.  During that night of exchange of information and theories she gave me some of her writings including several books and old issues of her newsletter, "Secrets".
Recently one of The Hollow Earth Insider regulars asked me to publish some of her stuff on the site.  I have plans on doing just that.
My first job, upon returning to Hollow Earth Studies is to get my resource material in order.  I have 8 file cabinets and 5 bookcases full of research.  After several moves and years in storage it is a jumbled mess.  Once I re-organize, then I'll start adding new info to the web page.  One of the first things I'll add will be a Norma Cox file.  In the mean time, several of her books are available as free downloadable e-books at:

FROM: Space.com comes an interesting possibility.

"While we're watching mars could someone be watching us?

"Have aliens sent mechanical emissaries to our solar system -- robotic probes on a snoopy mission to reconnoiter Earth?
"It's certainly an intriguing idea: sophisticated spy satellites from light-years away monitoring our planet, watching the slow evolution of life, and reporting back to their alien masters. Such a scenario has frequently appeared in the SETI literature, and Allen Tough, at the University of Toronto, has urged that we take the idea seriously enough to make a search for these alien "bugs."

SITE OF THE WEEK

William R. Cortiss and the Sourcebook Project has presented more information adding evidence that our earth is not exactly made-up as we are being told than any other recognized establishment scientist.  I find his site to be very useful.  I hope you do too.

"Science Frontiers and the Catalog of Anomalies are produced by William R. Corliss. Corliss has degrees in physics from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (B.S., 1950) and the University of Colorado (M.S., 1953). He is a member of the American Association for the Advancement of Science and the Society for Scientific Exploration. He resides in Glen Arm, Maryland, USA, where the Sourcebook Project is headquartered."

Melborne UFO Photo Causes Frenzy

UFO picture a saucer wonder
By Kate Uebergang
January 24, 2004
WHILE man is making his mark on Mars, some humans are wondering if aliens have zoomed into Melbourne.
A mysterious photograph has sparked a UFO frenzy in the city's north.
Both believers and skeptics are scratching their heads over a picture, snapped in Beveridge by a council officer last week.
Whittlesea Council is considering informing NASA and has already sent the image to Australian authorities.
The photographer, Whittlesea Council traffic engineer, Roland Rozario said he could not explain the digital photo, which shows a small round object zooming through the top right side of the frame

"More UFO sightings reported
"Witnesses terrified, transfixed by an object hovering in sky

CHARLES PERRY
Times & Transcript Staff
(Posted Jan/24/04)

"When Danielle Cormier of Moncton read about a UFO sighting by a couple in northern Kent County in yesterday's Times & Transcript, she had no problem relating to the story.

"Not only did she get a first-hand look at the unidentified flying object for approximately 45 minutes, but she had three friends with her to witness the experience.
