Our Expected Winter
2002 litter of chocolates has been pre-reserved
but we still have a
few advance bookings available to
approved homes for
our
late
spring yellow and chocolate litters.

We are a small hands-on
kennel that home raises its family
of labs WITHIN our
family environment. We have no kennel dogs,
we believe in the necessary
socializtion that comes from
daily life interaction
in the home. In order to preserve this mandate
we have even once placed
in an approved family home
a dog who will
return to us for 2 or 3 breedings
briefly following full
health clearances we obtain,
but still benefit from
the one-on-one interaction with an adoring family.
In this regard, our
numbers remain nicely manageable, our dogs
receive individualized
top quality care and attention,
and we are still able
to periodically single out
candidates for
our breeding program
while having a few
lucky families receive the benefit of
their company year
round. We feel this is the responsible
thing to do to ensure
that all dogs bearing the name
Copperstone ~
whether permanent residents in our breeding program,
retired, growing up
to take on the world here
or residing with their
new families=are assured a life of constant
human companionship
and love.
