If you would like to catch up on the latest news or ask a question then please visit the spanking new forum HERE This is the official web site of the Ampney Crucis Karate Club .The Ampney crucis karate club is part of the Southern Shotokan Karate Association (SSKA) Shotokan Karate is a system of unarmed combat in which participants specialise in self-defence techniques including Punching ,Kicking , Striking , Blocking and Throwing .
The aim of the club is to teach Shotokan style Karate to all who wish to learn. Why Shotokan? Shotokan varies from many westernised versions of karate because it remains firmly rooted in a strong martial arts tradition. There is no maximum age limit , the minimum age limit is 5/6years old (This may vary from Dojo to Dojo), we believe that the sooner you start to learn the better. Whether you prefer the passive aspect or the aggressive side there is something for all , why not come along and give it a try.
