Description: A Win '95 style GUI/OS for the 83.

Version 1.0:
   Due to numerous requests, APD was removed because it messes up some games.
   More bugs fixed.

Version .95:
   Aurora now supports different icons!
   An example of how to make your own icon (iconnibb.asm)
   The TI-BASIC API has been included (ZAPI & ZAURAGFX)
   Documentation for the API (API.txt)
   The ASM include file for the Aurora API

Version .88:
   Nathan Powell won the background pic contest!
   Added background pic preference
   Changing the password must be verified by entering the old one
   Fixed a few bugs

Version .84:
   Added function keys
   Increased pointer speed
   Fixed a few bugs

Version .80:
   Added automatic program detection
   First fully working version

Installation:

1) Copy AURORA.83G to your calc.
2) Run AURORA.
3) Contrast may need adjustment, press Y= for Preferences.

Nibbles 83Z is included in the .83g file.
If you wish to remove Nibbles 83Z, delete PROGNIBB and ZNIBBLES and ICONNIBB

Getting around:

1) Keys used:

        Arrow pad - moving the mouse pointer in 8 directions
        2ND       - clicking

2) Taskbar menu:

        By clicking on the taskbar at the bottom of the screen, a menu is shown.  To access one of the selections, click on it.

        Prefs - pulls up the preference window allowing you to adjust the contrast and your password.

        TI-OS - exits Aurora and returns to the calculator shell.

        About - displays the version window.

        Off - Shuts down and locks the calculator.

3) Function Keys:

        Y= - Prefs

        Window - Off

        Graph - TI-OS

4) Preference Window:

        The contrast is adjusted by clicking on the arrows, left = lighter & right = darker.

        To change the backgroud, click "Change BG Pic."  Enter the number of the new background pic.

           Example:  Press 1 for Pic1.

        The password is changed by clicking on the "Change Password" box and entering a new password.

           - If you have a password already entered, Aurora will ask you to re-enter it

           - At the "Enter New PWord" Window:
 
                If you don't want a password, just press enter.

5) Running programs:

        To run a program, click on it's respective icon.


Multitasking:

        True multitasking is not possible on the TI-83.  However, Windows 3.x

        style multitasking is possible if the program supports it.


Adding/Removing programs:

        Aurora will autodetect programs and add them to the desktop.

        These programs are named PROGxxxx, where xxxx is the name that will appear below the icon.

        To remove the program, delete it.


Icons:

        When a program is detected Aurora will search for ICONxxxx.  For example,

        when PROGNIBB is detected, Aurora searches for ICONNIBB.  To make your

        own icon, visit the Official Aurora Home Page.
