Descriptive plaque of building that is behind it.

This is the building that is being described in the plaque.

Some of the homes in the colonial Williamsburg area are privately owned and have mazes created shrubbery that grows in their yards.

To tour thorough Colonial Williamsburg you have the choice of walking as we did, or a horse drawn coach.

Our tour guide did an excellent job of describing the are to us. Behind him is the Palace of Colonial Williamsburg.

Through out the village area there were several houses that you could tour through.

Karen, Mike, Joey, and Adam before we sat down to eat in Shields's Tavern.

The hostess in the Tavern offered to take a family picture for us so that we would all be in the picture

While we were eating out lunch this gentleman came in and introduced himself to us. Mr. Shields, the propritor of the Inn.

Mr. Shields was an extremly funny man. He kept us laughing while we were waiting to be served our meals. It was a pleasant way to pass the time.

This was one of the many plaques that were placed on the walls of the Church in Colonial Williamsburg.

Inside of the Colonial Williamsburgh Church.

Karen is admiring the workmanship of the inside of the church. She was amazed with the beauty of the church. As were the rest of us.

Joey and Adam.

Today services are still held in the Church. This is where the minister preaches his sermons. This is in about the middle of the church.

Mike, Adam and Karen are listening to the Tour Guide in the church giving them some history about the church.

The walls in the entrance of the Palace also had guns placed around on them.
