Vicks NyQuil

Vicks NyQuil is a minor cold and cough suppresent. It's ingrediants work together to cure minor aches and pains, coughs, runny nosses and congestion, stuff head, and sleep deprivation due to cold. It also helps to take the pain away from sore throats. One of the main ingrediants/ chemicals in Nyquil is Doxylamine Succinate. Its Chemical Formula is C21H28N2O5. When Doxylamine Succinate is in its solid form, its physical description is that of a white/cream colored powdery substance. It molecular weight is 388.81. Doxylamine Succinate is best soluble in water, 95% ethanol, and acetone. This compound is used as an antihistamine. When by itself, it can be quite harmful if it comes in contact with skin, eyes, etc. Although this produect does help with colds, it causes drozziness, dizziness, ane sometimes nervousness. Main ingrediants: Doxylamine Succinate 12.5 mg, Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide 30 mg, Acetaminophen 1000 mg, Pseudoephedrine Hydrochloride 60 mg.
