Biography of Aspen
Aspen consists of guitarist Jonathon McDonald, bassist Joey Walton, drummer Walt Collins, and singer Andrew Sweat. It started off in Vidalia, Georgia. Andrew and Walt were friends for a long time and wanted to start a band. We picked up a guitarist at the time whose name won't be revealed. Afterwards Aspen picked up Jonathon McDonald. Soon after the new addition, Aspen encountered many creative differences between the band and former guitarist. The first guitarist decided to leave and Aspen was once again a third person band. Walt and Jonathon left Vidalia the next year after graduation to Statesboro for College. Soon afterwards, Walt's roommate played bass and decided to join the band. His many talents in bass and piano brings a unique style to Aspen. Aspen recorded a 3 song demo on June 9th, 2005 featuring scrapbook memories, the things we haven't done, and my infinity. We are interested in signing to a label and playing as many shows as time allows, to get Aspen out to the masses.
