I love music. It's probably the greatest thing ever. I can't go a day without listening to music. I listen to basically anything. Metal, Rock, Ska, Techno, Alternative, Grunge...I love it all. Except emo and hardcore. I spend a lot of my time and money going to shows, especially Chimaira. I've seen Chimaira 7 times and counting.
Here's some of my favorite bands:
Chimaira is definately the best band in the entire fucking world. They were first introduced to me by my darling David, and I just can't get enough of them. They are by far the best life performance I have ever seen, and some of the nicest guys I have ever met.
Second runner up is definantly Pantera. There is just something about those men that make me so happy. Even though they aren't really a band right now, I can only hope that they get back together so I can see them in concert.
After them I would have to say are SlipKnoT and American Head Charge. I've seen SlipKnoT 3 times and they were fucking awesome and I saw AHC with them once. SlipKnoT is just all around wonderful as is AHC. Martin Cock's voice is so beautiful. I love both of them.
After that I would say Metallica. Those boys are just fucking awesome. I got the tattoo and everything.
Then there is just a really long list of bands that consist of:
Testament, Soilwork, Downthesun, Dark Tranquility, Callenish Circle, SuperJoint Ritual, Lamb of God, Diecast, Thrice, Slayer, TOOL, A Perfect Circle, Gizmachi, Britney Spears, Deftones, Factory 81, Static X, Sublime, Operation Ivy, Soundgarden, Justin Timberlake, Orgy, Powerman 5000, Sum41, Alice In Chains, Rob Zombie, The Ramones, Propagandhi, Lagwagon, Shades Apart, Beastie Boys, old Blink 182, and a lot of other bands.
I also have a great list of local bands. Some are:
