Knit Stuff
Page VII

Another page of knit bags and stuff. I've been experimenting with different
designs and types of yarn. About 90% of my knits seem to turn out the
way I want them to. I get inspired and want to make new and more
creative items, but sometimes I just can't get the design or form right.
It's still a lot of fun for me, though, even if I have to unravel
and start over several times.

There are a few bags pictured on this page
that are for sale!!! Scroll down to see them.

This bag was sold in a bag show I had at Louise's
realty office. She was really nice to have me
come out to do the show. I'd love to do another
one!

This bag is made from a skein of yarn I bought
at a little shop in Kirkwood. Really neat
varigated pattern of color - I call it
Chocolate Mint!
This bag is still for sale!

This is the first coin purse I made.
The knitted pattern is also a first. I like
how the hand-beaded decoration turned out.
The zipper was a lot easier now that I've done
it a few times. I made it for Laura.

This bag went to one of the winners in a charity
poker game. My cousin Catherine needed some
prizes for the winners and usually gives handbags.
The three winners were pleasantly surprised when
they received custom made bags!

This bag also went to the charity poker game.
It was made from some more varigated wool from the
Kirkwood shop.

This bag was the third prize in the charity poker
game. Everyone seems to like pink and brown
together - very complementary to most wardrobes!

Here's the first hand-beaded bag I created.
This bag is still for sale!

Louise bought this one from me at the bag show.
She loved its simplicity and color palatte.

I made this bag for myself just to try out a
new pattern. Mom liked it so much she ordered
one for Daddy to give her for her Birthday!
This bag was my first stab at lining - it was
a lot easier than I thought it would be!
