Lew's Band Hunt

I love jammin. I love getting together with a group of guys who love to play and lose it for a few hours. Playing with my band Everyman back in Beaufort was incredible. When we began to gel we could actually feel each others energy and that feeling was better than any high you could get from any drug or alcohol. My band played several shows and let me tell those of you who have not had this experience, playing live is the most amazing feeling in the world. Well all things no matter if they are good or bad will come to an end. And there was no exception to this rule when it cam to the fate of Everyman. All four of us boys, Brandon [singer/guitar], Jeremy [singer/guitar], Ben [bass/cargo shorts/ladies], and me [drums/place kicking] went our separate ways when it came time to go to college and the Beaufort legend Everyman dissipated.

Now I am without a band, and without that euphoria that comes with jamming. So I have tirelessly been trying to find a group down here in Miami that shares the passion and love of music that my original band had shared. I have combed the classifieds for groups looking for drummers and I have found my share of groups but they have not responded. Recently, however, I got a response from a couple of dudes named Pedro and Pattie. They want me to come by and play with them but my endless cynicism [aka- fear of getting killed and butt raped] has kept me from getting back to those guys. If anyone out there is in the Miami area and feels like jamming with a somewhat competent drummer [ and you promise not to butt rape me] write to me in the message board and I’ll try to get back to you.
