Fiction

Our book of love’s been penned
From your point of view
The chapters are all written
The ending’s finished too
The ink has all dried
On one critic’s review
“Twas poorly conceived
And not well thought through
It lacks all direction
And the concept isn’t new”
So rip out the spine
And melt down the glue
And burn all the pages
Cause none of it was true
