These are from an art assignment i had in grade 10 i believe. Now why would i put these odd's and end's ensemble of facial features as my first drawing entry you may be asking. Well that is simple. I like how they look, and they lead into the next drawing i am going to post. As you can see i did very well on this assignment, earning a 10 out of ten! :)
This is what the assignment was getting us ready to draw. We first tried drawing the singular parts of the face, and then we had to take a picture of someone (anyone, i took a woman from some bride's magazine) and draw them using the technique we learned. Now i will inform you, drawing faces of people is one of the few things i hate to draw. I'm horrible at it. You may look at this and say "it doesn't look that bad? what the hell is she talking bout?" well if you saw the picture that i drew from the whole face is the exact opposite of what it looked like, the angle of the features are completely wrong! LOL lucky for me the teacher didn't seem to notice, otherwise i would have got a 0! :P
This one is one of my fave people drawings because i didn't have to draw the face! :) We were just suppose to focus on drawing the body, and the clothes, getting the folds, shadows and such. i like how this one turned out. Very nice if i do say so myself!
I really like how this one turned out. It is one of the few pictures, besides my comic drawings, that are coloured. I liked it, but my teacher didn't think it was so great. I can't remember why, but she gave me a lower mark then i think it deserved. Stupid teacher! LOL The original looks better, cause this kinda turned out a bit too dark, so you cann't make it out as clearly... but still... ok maybe it was the letters that threw the picture off for the teacher, but oh well! Not half bad :P
This is a weird assignment we had. We had to draw a picture using stippling. (using dots to draw) But we had to incorproate into the picture an animal, and inanimate object, something from nature, and a person (note: i left the person out on purpose because i was handing the assignment in late and figured who cares, i am going to get a bogus mark for being late, and the face would ruint he picture :P). I think it turned out pretty neat. I love frogs, they are so cute! :P
This is a picture i drew in parenting class in grade 11. I was SOOOO bored out of my skull. To aleviate my bordom i decided to draw. I don't know if you can see the original picture very well, but i think it looks fairly close to the real one. I really like it. I love cats, they are so god damn cute! (i also like lizards! LOL)
Again, this is another picture i drew on another day through another boring parenting class. haha, i am surprised i never got in trouble, i sat near the front and the teacher always stood in front of my row. Oh well! i like this one, though i didn't really finish it, (and i did a half assed job of the flowers LOL) there are suppose to be more flowers up front and more grass behind the cat, but i didn't feel like doing that much detail, plus that class wasn't THAT long LOL, so i didn't have the time either. I like it. turned out pretty good.
This is a picture i drew of my cute puppy Princess. She was only a year old in the picture i drew from, but she looks so cute! My funny lil puppy!
I like this picture loads! i think it is one of my better animal drawings. Though it looks very light in this copy of it, the original looks a bit better and clearer. I did this one on my spare last year i believe. :) I would draw when i was bored or didn't want to do my work LOL!
This is a picture i drew all by myself. It is one of those rare pictures that i drew from my own imagination... i find when i do that they don't always turn out right because i sometimes have a hard time figuring out how to draw it the way i want it to look. But this one turned out alright i think. I like it, it's cute :P
Ok this one is a very weird creature that i created out of nowhere one day. I was particularly bored in art class (of all places LOL) and decided to play around, and came up with this funny looking fellow. It is a cross of a bunny, frog and lizard. Haha, i'm so weird! :P
