the long road to nowhere






here i am driving alone
could have taken the short road home
but i took the long road to nowhere instead.
here i am walking along the path of insecurities
when the other path always seemed so secure

so why would I take the hard
way when the opposing way is so easy
was it because it looks appealing
or was it because it looks so dull
maybe the path to victory is to be the longer road
or maybe i just want to be alone
