i lie in my bed at night dreaming of me and you
sitting on cold, damp grass in the california winter air
we watch the moon and count the infinite stars
i wish that morning would never come
i dont ever want this moment to end
with you next to me i feel all right
the rest of the world can dissappear or crumble away

i see the moon shine over your face

and rest it around your shoulders
we close in the gap between my body and yours
and our lips begin to touch
as i sink through the ground and i fall
