The Perfect Moment

i lay there
next to him.
he slowly begins to move closer to me.
he wraps his arms
around me,
with his hands
on my sides.
i play his hair
through my fingers,
and gaze into his eyes.
he pulls me closer to him,
and slowly kisses me.
i kiss him back
and smile.
i lay my head
on his chest,
and place my arms
on his chest.
i can hear his heartbeat, and feel his warmth.
he whispers my name
into my ear,
i look up at him,
and gaze back
into his eyes.
he kisses me again,
and whispers,
"i love you my angel.."
