she takes her life
one sip at a time.
she uses the drink
to swallow her fears
and dreams alike.
she sits alone all day,
staring into empty hopes.
she tries to sing,
but nothing comes out.
so she gets another drink.
giving up SO easily
on everything she's worked
SO hard for.
she ignores everyone
and everything
around her,
until HE calls..
then she drops everything,
and comes running to him.
just so she can hear
the sound of his voice.
he is her drink,
he is her hope,
and her fear.
he is her husband..
