YAHOO BRIEFCASE:
-Reliable (to a certain extent)
-30MB of room but can only upload 5MB files
-Quick and easy to sign up for!
-Does have a download limit.
First off you will need some accounts. Since they only offer 30MB of space, look at your game and see how many accounts you will need. Some people only upload 2 files per account this way more downloads can be made from that file before the limit is reached. That is a personal preference though.
HOW TO SIGN UP:
Go to www.yahoo.com Under their search engine, you will see some of their main topics, then different categories under it. Find the PERSONAL section and click on briefcase. It will bring you to a sign in screen. Just click on the SIGN UP NOW.
Now enter the user name you desire and add some number like 12000 beside it. Enter your desired password, fill in the info but don't supply an e-mail address! They will make one for you with your briefcase account. When you submit it will bring you into the "Please re-enter the labels in red" screen. Here is where it starts to get easier.
Choose their 'create an email account' box just under the alternate email slot. Then when you submit it again it should have created your account. On the Account created successfully page, just jot down your user name and password.
Want to make another account really quick? Just back up your browser 2 pages and click submit again. It will tell you someone is already using that name! (DUH!) Just change the 12000 beside your name to 12001 and click submit! Another new account should have been created.
Want to make another even quicker? Just back up one page to the place where you changed the 12000 to 12001 and now just change the 12001 to 12002, click submit...and so on, and so on, and so on, until you get all the accounts you need. If you want you can make tonnes of them in one sitting or just how ever many you need for that specific game. Easy enough? Now when you go to use it for the first time you will be asked a few questions...nothing major BUT there is an access code you have to type in to a box near the bottom, the access code is right beside where you need to type it in though.
HOW TO UPLOAD:
Now you are into your Yahoo Briefcase! You will see the 'Add File' link, just click it. You will be brought to the upload a file screen. Stick with uploading only one at a time because you can only upload 5MB at a time. Since your files should be .zipped/.rared/.aced at 5 mb, only one at a time is allowed. If you try more you will get the response that the file is more than 5MB and can't be uploaded.
HOW TO MAKE IT A DIRECT DOWNLOAD:
Once a file is up, just right click it and go to properties. You will see next to the URL section something like this

If you post that alone, it will be directly downloaded. For each file though you need to check the properties and get that info. If you want you can post them like that (just make sure there is a space in between them so they aren't all jumbled together) or email them to GamersJunktion@hotmail.com
WANT TO DOUBLE YOUR UPLOAD SPEED?
Just download their Yahoo Drive! program. Sign in through your web browser as normal, then once you are in use the Yahoo Drive! on your computer. Voila, you are uploading two files at once instead of one!
