I just wanted to tell everyone why I love Alex so much!!!
To start off, he is one of the best defensive players I have EVER seen! Not only can he throw like a cannon, he has amazing range!!! Countless times I've seen him run in behind Tony Batista and throw a stike to Delgado from behind third base. I've seen him run across second base to retrieve a slow roller and fire the ball right into Carlos' glove! He dives to save runs from scoring. He can pretty much do anything and everything in the field. Just look at these fielding stats:

Now everyone knows that Alex does not have the best bat on The Toronto Blue Jays. However, he does not have a bad bat. He does his part nicely. He drives in runs, he hits his fair share of homeruns, he sacrafices himself for the good of the team! You can't fault him for his bat. You can't fault him for anything! Just look at these hitting stats. There pretty good!! :

Alex is a great player and all those people out there who say he sucks or he is not a valid part of the Blue Jays baseball club are dead wrong. If the Jays got rid of Alex Gonzalez they'd notice right away. In the field and at bat!!!!!!!!!
