Dead To Me

To our dear beloved friends, families, and fans:

Well the inevitable end has come. No Longer I is no longer together. Soon after the Six Flags Show Aaron had informed the band of his seperation with them. After a very short lived time together, the band has fallen.

In retrospect, it seemed like the best choice, both for the band as well as Aaron. "I can see that we have very different ways of both practicing and in musical taste," wrote Aaron in a memo sent to the band "I don't want to hold you guys back and i feel that's what I'm doing if i remain in the band. So with that in mind, i have decided to leave."

And so as Aaron left the collapse of NLI came. There was no love lost between the members and support is given from both sides as they continue to do thier own things.

Bert, Earl, Greg, and Diana (NLI's guitar tech) are in the midst of forming a new group, who's name is yet to be determined. When asked what the new bands sound will be like, bert replied "something like Cursive." Plans are still underway as the band deals with the distance issue as well as finalizing a name and staff.

As for Aaron, he will be starting a new project in the footsteps of Dashboard Confessional, simply name "The No Hit Wonder." Starting out as a simple one man acoustic sound, like DC in the early days and if the oppurtunity comes about perhaps adding on a backing band.

In parting the former NLI would like to thank:

(bert): Jenn, Nick, Diana and all who bought our crap EP

(greg):spencer, parents, band mates, nick, diana, jenn

(earl): could not be found, but we'll guess he thanks the "fans", nick, diana, and jenn...oh and the band

(aaron): Thanks to our great staffers. Jenn, Diana, and Nick. Thank you to our friends that helped us out along the way, by purchasing our EP, buying stickers, selling our crap and showing up at our show. Thank you to our families for putting up with us. Thank you to Bert, you were always my right hand man in this, without you i would have never had the guts to sing my heart out. Thank you Earl, you play a mean guitar. And Greg, we found it hard to practice without a drum line, so with out you the beat could not go on. Thank you to those that showed up at Six Flags and those that made that experience hell (FBLA) And most importantly thank you again to those that supported us along the way.

You will be missed by all, and so we hope that you'll continue to support us individually as we go on to new things.

Thank you! Good-Bye!
