Fazail-e-Hazrat FATIMA (s.a)
( MAULANA MIRZA MOHD ATHAR )


Hazrat FATIMA (S.A) was the only daughter of our Holy Prophet MOHAMMAD (S.A.W). She was born on 20th Jamadi-ul-Aakhir . Her mother was Hazrat Khadija Kubra daughter of Kholaid . She was the greatest business woman and was called "Malikat-ul-Arab".

When Hazrat FATIMA (S.A) was five years of age ,her mother passed away.The Prophet (S.A.W) brought her up and she also migrated with her father to Madina . She was married to Hazrat ALI (A.S) on 1st Zilhaj 2nd Hijri at Madina.

The Prophet (S.A.W) loved his daughter dearly and used to say that :

"The essence of Paradise is emitted from Fatima (S.A)."

When she used to visit her father,on seeing her the Prophet (S.A.W) used to stand up in her honour to welcome her, he used to kiss her hand and used to seat her in his place.


Sayings of Prophet (P.B.U.H):

1) " WHOEVER HURT FATIMA , HE HURT ME AND WHOEVER HURT ME, HURT ALLAH."

2) " FATIMA IS SAYYADA-TUN-NISA-AL-AALAMEEN (LEADER OF THE WOMEN IN THE WORLD ) AND IS THE LEADER OF ALL WOMEN WHO WILL GO TO HEAVEN."


Hence she got the title "KHATOON-E-JANNAT". She loved and cared for all the fellow human beings and was a staunch worshipper of ALLAH . She prayed for all and her act of worship were so greatly loved by ALLAH that ALLAH sent angels to serve her.

Imam Hasan (A.S) and Imam Hussain (A.S) were her sons and Hazrat Zainab and Hazrat Kulsoom were her daughters . Her children sacrificed their lives at KARBALA to save Islam.

 

The Prayer [ Tasbeeh-e-Hazrat Fatima (s.a) ]

Take any kind of Prayer Bead string, such as shown on the image below. The Prayer String should have a total of 99 beads, with two dividers and ahead called the Sheikh.

The Prayer Bead is taken by the left hand and with the index finger and tumb of the right hand draws each bead seperately one by one and saying the words as described below:

 

    For first set of 33 beads plus counting the first divider.

    Hence totalling in all 34 beads. For each bead passed say the clearly the words to yourself:


    ALLAHO AKBAR
    For each of the 34 beads seperately.

    For the next second set of 33 beads. For each bead passed say the clearly the words to yourself

    AL-HAMDU LE ALLAH
    For each of the 33 beads seperately.

    For the third set of 33 beads For each bead passed say the clearly the words to yourself:

    SUBHANA LE ALLAH
    For each of the 33 beads seperately.

 

Totally 100 beads

Most or if not all of the Mujtahideen express a great Mustahab (preferable) as near to as Wajib (compulsory) to say this Prayer after any Prayer of Worship is concluded.

Many Muslims carry with them at all times the Prayer Bead String so that they can recite this prayer numerousily at any time of the day and night. Especially at times when one has nothing to do such as waiting or sitting around lazily.

So think about it! What better way of filling your spare and idle time than to quietly recite this small Prayer to yourself in the remmemberance and in thankfulness of Allah(swt) your Creator and Master. And in return Allah(swt) will reward His untold SAWAAB.

Thus it is good to always recite, in One's idle times. For it keeps the mind away from straying into troubled terrain. But to keep it travelling on the true and right track of good and steer away from evil with its untold mischievoius wicked thoughts and ideas etc.

 

The Prophet (S.A.W) died in 11th Hijri and soon after his (S.A.W) death the family faced severe difficulties . Hazrat Fatima (S.A) lived only for 75 days after her father and expired on 14th Jamadi-ul-Awal 11th Hijri and in some books there is 13th Jamadi-ul-Awal too. Hazrat Ali (A.S) buried her at night with the help of few realtives in the graveyard JANAT-UL-BAQI. Her shrine was built but unfortunately it was pulled down in 1926 . At present her grave is visible .

 

WE PRAY THAT MOMINEEN MAY WITNESS THAT DAY SOON WHEN THE SHRINE WILL BE BUILT AGAIN (Ameen).
