Fri 16/7/03 ~ the rain in spain mainly consists of naked people
My exams have been over for... shit, it must be coming up to a month now, and I hadn't noticed. I'm really regretting not updating this journal - I have SO much news.
Since I finished my GCSEs, I've been doing bugger all. I should really be going out and getting a job, but instead I've lazed about and gone on holiday all too often. Money is for suckers.
I took a trip to Wales last week. One of Siān's friends (and now, my friends, since I'm nice like that) owns a chalet in a place called Tywyn, and he and four of us went and spent about three or four days being self-sufficient. I quite enjoyed it, although I need to learn how to boil eggs properly.
Tomorrow I'm going to Spain. A place called Llanes near Bilbao (our family loves obscure places), sort of in the hills a way. It might prove a problem for my doddery dear old dad, but we'll manage.
After I get back, I'm house-sitting for my sister(exactly what it sounds like - babysitting a house. Basically I live in it while my sister is away) and fun shall ensue. I think it'll provide me with a good opportunity to get an archive of FireBall going, so if I'm lazy and don't draw for a few days I still have a good backlog to fall back on.
In case you don't know, FireBall is my latest website venture. It's a hand-drawn webcomic, but I'm having trouble keeping up to date. Procrastination is a horrible syndrome.

AIM is just multiplayer Notepad,

Weds 5/3/03 ~ lenten fiasco
Well, Lent is here again, and once again I've given up chocolate. One day down, thirty-nine to go.
Nine days until Tenacious D. Rock.
That's about it... coursework bogging me down, and I'm scared of toilet paper. The end.

Sun 23/2/03 ~ news to report
Five months since I wrote in this journal. Five whole months. A lot has happened since then. I've been made a super moderator at VGChat, I joined GhettoNet and subsequently saw a server change - again, I took my GCSE mocks, did better than hoped, worse than predicted, and all was well.
Tomorrow is mine and Siān's four-month 'anniversary' of going out. It doesn't seem like a third of a year already, but time flies when you're having fun.
It's Tom's birthday the day after, and I'll probably post something about it afterward.
Cally was recently put down. She was older than me, and Jane and Ian made the decision that it would be kinder to her than to wait. She was deaf, blind, losing her sense of smell and her memory. It's a shame, but it had to be done.
It's currently half-term, and I've got simply piles of work to do, as always. I keep procrastinating by doing random things - visiting webcomics, playing computer games, writing this blog, etc.
I've put down a preorder for about five games, and I don't know where i'm going to get the money...
Pokémon Sapphire (Imported): £40
Metroid Prime: £40
The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker: £40
Total: £120
Being broke for months: Priceless.
Damn adverts, getting into my head. Will out.

Tue 10/9/02 ~ why the big paws?
Jee-zus, it's been a long time since I updated, in which absolutely nothing has happened whatsoever. I borrowed Melee, played it, bought it. There has been nothing to moderate.
About the most active thing I have done so far is create a webcomic - Golden Oldies - about Super Sonic and Zachary. Joe gives it a week - I say I just need to keep churning out new scripts.
I have a new baby cousin - Benjamin Ezra Jacques Smith, born a few days ago. Grandma is going to London to stay tomorrow, and my mother for the weekend, as far as I can gather.
I've had mounds of homework to do since the start of term. Looks like I'll be snowed under until the REAL snow arrives. Ah well. Must sleep.

Thu 15/8/02 ~ dogginess and boredom
Well, Yvonne rang yesterday and said she'd call off the tenner I owed her for the GameCube. Joe said he'd lend me Melee. And to top it all off, I got a dual copy of my GAME statement, complete with voucher, meaning a fiver off any game, hopefully SSB:M.
I had to get up early today, to feed and walk the Dale menagerie, and it's taking its toll. As much as an early bird might get the worm, the early worm gets eaten.
Pros: Good breakfast, longer day, good practice for school, don't wake up with pillows hanging off bed.
Cons: Less sleep, can't stay up late.
I might just get into this lark. The Infinitely Postponed Party has been postponed yet another week, and is cuurently on for Wednesday. Malcolm and Peel can both hopefully make it, and another early start, for a 9:00 leaving time. Fingers crossed that Dad can get up in time.
Mum sent home a hilarious email from work that had both Craig and myself in stitches, about the paperclip on Word.
'Hey, it looks like you're writing a letter!'
We went on SalmonDays to look up some more, and discovered some amateur material there.
Since Dan Shive's lapse into a tri-weekly schedule, I've sought out Freefall, about an alien, a robot and a talking wolf. It's really quite good.
In other news, I've posted a lot on VGC, and that's about it.
I may go to bed at around half nine today, so I need to drag my arse away from the computer.

Sun 11/8/02 ~ annoyance
I haven't got dressed at all today, lazy arse that I am. Well, I didn't need to, did I?
Because today sucked... now pretty much no-one can celebrate the infinitely postponed party. Malcolm's working, Peel's been last week and Joe's afraid of rollercoasters, or something. In his words, 'i don't like theam parks'. So there you have it.
I logged onto the 'net and decided to start a blog, so this is it. Not much, but soon I'll have a large journal, don't you worry.
