Malo Lelei! Welcome to my homepage!

I can only explain the purpose of this personal website through the humbleness of my family. We hail for the only remaining monarchy island in the South Pacific, the Kingdom of Tonga.

We are simple yet very complex. Roots of the villiage of Kanokupolu, Tongatapu, yet the upbringing 'oe OTU MOTU LALO! Residing in the city of Long Beach, however, first originating from the city of Euless, TX. Nevertheless, proud to be a Californian. Therefore, currently proud to be a full members of " 'Amanaki ke Fakataha" United Methodist Church a.k.a. "United with Hope" UMC.

We live to be proud of our heritage, and to have pride in our roots, therefore, reaching the Ultimate Plan of Our God for we are owned by Him and only Him. We take pride in our family, for they are my foundation, and all that they were, are, and have become, so that we may continue that love and fellowship, and never let it die. We aim to live the better life, a new life with the guidance of Jesus Christ, love for each other, and the Faith to believe in what we are, where we came from, what we have become, and what we WILL be.

Not Fair
Read Luke 15:11-32

The landowner said, "Are you envious because I am generous?" -Matthew 20:15

GOD'S method of redeeming the world is not about fairness but about grace, and grace is about getting what we do not deserve. Grace meant that Jesus got what he didn't deserve: death on a cross so that we could see the extent of God's love. Grace also means that we get what we don't deserve: life.

Jesus' parable of the prodigal son is a story of this grace, with three main characters. The story wouldn't make sense without the father and the younger son, the prodigal; and the older son reminds us that grace often seems unfair. The story ends as the father pleads with his older son to come and celebrate his brother's return. We never find out what the older son does after the party because, I think, the older son's response is our response. We are meant to finish the story in our lives. When someone gets credit for what we have done, when we are overlooked for what we have earned, or when living the right way doesn't seem to make a difference, we can accept the offer to celebrate God's grace. Or we can remain outside and refuse to participate in God's grace which is redeeming the world. Matthew Browning (Iowa, USA)

Prayer:
Dear God, give us hearts to celebrate your gift of grace in all its forms. Amen.

Beautiful Quote

"Never take someone for granted. Hold every person close to your heart because you might wake up one day and realize that you've lost a diamond while you were too busy collecting stones." - author unknown
