Here is the new Carpet laid on the floor getting all the kinks out from shipping.

Here is the old carpet on in the car.  Kind of a crappy picture but you can see just how dirty and rotten it was.

Following are some pictures to show the work involved.  Not hard work but just very time consuming.

You can see the billet steeda shifter in this picture.  That is also shown in a link from the mustang section.

The convertible top mechanicals are covered by this piece.  It has to come out for the carpet to be replaced.  While they were out i replaced the speakers because they were rotted out.  Dropped in a couple of reasonably priced Kenwood's from circuit city.

While the carpet is out i ran the wires for the sound system which is a long ways off but i am trying to plan ahead.

Everything is out of the trunk waiting for the stereo amps and the sub box.  The copper pipe is just so i could get a measure of how much volume i had to work with in the spare tire area.  Once the box is done i will post more pics.
