Here you can download downtown lots for your game. These all require the Hot Date expansion pack.
Extract them to c:\program files\maxis\the sims\userdata#\houses
The # stands for which number downtown neighbourhood you want it in.
Lot 23 -Funbo's Place
Brief Description -
It has a clothes shop, which has lot of different styles of clothes to choose from.
It has a 24 hour club for your sims to hit the dance floor, or maybe show all your sims groovy moves inside the dancing cage.
It has a hotdog and ice-cream diner which will fill your sims up so they are ready to go and have some more fun. :-)
It also has an outdoor pond where you can rent boats and feed the fish, a camp fire for sims to have a good old sing-along or just the odd roasted marshmellow.
