ENCOUNTER WITH A BLOOD-SUCKER
Jester was chillin' in the pub one day, when all of a sudden, his strong sense of hearing caught a barrage of screams from the village, for there were some survivors of the village...basically people who weren't very well known. Jester grabs his sword next to the door as he rushed out in a flash. "What's his deal?" chuckled J-Man. "Must have heard something" said Tristessa. As Jester approached the village, he noticed something extremely frightening...the fact that the victims he sees around weren't from the fire. It appears that the remaining villagers were slaughtered by something. He found one body that was still half-way attached, but he noticed a pair of bitemarks on her neck. Jester suddenly hears a hissing noise approaching him from behind. It was a vampire named Duel. Jester allowed Duel to attack him. Instead of attacking, Duel bites his neck to suck blood from. After tasting the first drop, he realized it wasn't ordinary blood, but angelic blood, which burns him like acid. "Still hungry" Jester joked as he knocked Duel into a wall using his upper back strength. Jester then placed his sword through the pit of Duel's stomach going, "awwwww gotta tummy ache?" Duel then exposed his fangs to him. "What the fuck?" Jester said puzzled noticing him not dead. After a sudden delay, Duel faints, so Jester pulls his sword out of Duel's limp body, and lays him down. Duel laying unconcious, Jester decides to walk off, so he places his sword on his back. As he turns around, Jester hears a swooping noise along with an echoing sinister laughter. Jester looked back to see if Duel was still laying on the ground...he wasn't. He disappeared. All that remained was a puddle of black fluid that came from the wound Jester so easily layed upon the butcher. As Jester walked back he kept thinking, "A vampire? Here? That's impossible! They're supposed to be a myth." As Jester was making his way to the Pub, little did he know that he was being quietly followed by the butchering vampire who weilded a sword, and an uzi machine gun. Jester finally arrives at the pub and Duel is hiding in one of the trees watching. As Jester entered the pub, he hears a drifter talking of something going on in the village. He then mentions what the villagers called "the slasher". Jester hears the discussion and payed close attention to the description. It fit perfectly to Duel's. Jester then stabs his sword into the ground agressivelly, causing all the drifters to fly out of the room in fear. "Jester you scared all my money away!!" J-Man yelled behind the counter. Jester suddenly flops down onto the ground sitting meditation style next to his sword looking shocked. "Jester...?" Tristessa said with a worried look on her face. Jester still didn't answer. He just sat there stared off in space with no expression. After a while of mediation, Jester finally said, "I saw something that I couldn't believe. The reason I ran out the door in such a hurry was because I heard a bunch of screaming from the village. I went to go check it out and there..." before Jester could even finish, Duel charged through the door of the pub. He then places his sword to Tristessa's neck and aimed his uzi at J-Man. J-Man of couse drew his guns in unison. Tristessa couldn't get to her whips, for one of them were still cut from Jester's knife, and the other one was back at the base of Falgerus. Jester then took his sword and placed it over J-Man's guns, pulling them down. Then stood between J-Man and Duel. "It's me you're after. Leave my friend and my brother out of it" Jester volunteered. Duel then sheaths his sword, but keeps his gun on Jester. "Okay tough ass..." Jester said as he threw his sword making it stab into a wall far from them, "...if you can get to that sword before me, you can kill us. But if I get to it before you do..." when Jester finished that, he smiled wickedly thinking of what will happen when he gets to the sword before Duel. "Jester what the fuck are you doing?!" J-Man yelled. Of course, Jester isn't listening to J-Man so J-Man figured Jester had a plan...and he did. Little did the vampire know, Jester has an invisible attachement from his hand to the sword to where he can pull the sword back to him at the blink of an eye. So J-Man began to draw one of his guns to shoot the vampire in the leg so he couldn't run, but Jester put his hand over the barrel and went, "no I want it to be fair". J-Man began getting impatient. "Look, if you want to shoot something, be the one to say 'go' with your gun okay!?" Jester said so he could settle the trigger-happy demon. On three Jester flung the sword back to him. As he went to attack, he noticed Duel was right at the spot the sword was before Jester could even attack. "How the...?" Jester was shocked, along with J-Man and Tristessa. "I guess that would make it a tie." said the demonic angel. Jester looks to J-Man to see if he was gonna do anything...he didn't. He also looked to Tristessa if she was gonna do something, she didn't. The vampire then introduced himself. "Why did you massacre all those innocent villagers!?" Jester screamed in anger. "He did what!?" Tristessa asked with a angry look in her eyes. "I was hungry" said the very swift vampire. "You're a sloppy butcher" Jester said with an angry look, "you deserve to die a horrible death". The vampire got into Jester's face and said "I was mainly interested in the main course...Normic". J-Man then got between the two with a psychotic look on his face, pushes Jester back, and goes"well that makes four of us". After a while of discussion, Jester, J-Man, and Tristessa talked privately about Duel. J-Man looks at him, gets in his face and goes, "you're on my good side for now, but if you fuck us over, it's gonna be your corpse being disected by my guns...understand!?". Duel did understand, and J-Man made sure of that. The thing about Duel is, he's not any ordinary vampire. He's a vampire with no weaknesses, except for the sword Jester wielded and angelic blood. Jester's sword was given to him by his grandfather who happens to be the Angel of Death. His grandfather also trained him in the art of swordsmanship and the controlling of his power. Nightfall came, and everyone was getting tired. Duel was gonna go back to wherever he lives, but Jester suggested that Duel stay with them...so they can keep an eye on him. "Where's he gonna sleep?" Tristessa asked. Duel looks up and sees a horizontal pipe above him. Duel then backflips, holds on to the pipe with his feet, covers his face with his jacket, and goes to sleep like a bat. Tristessa then goes "Mmmmmkay....nevermind then". Jester, Tristessa, and J-Man are on watch over the pub 24/7...Jester does the night shift, while J-Man does the day shift. Sometimes Tristessa will stay on watch from above the pub, and Jester and J-Man usually stay at the door on the outside. Jester stayed outside leaning against the wall next to the door with his eyes closed though not asleep. He then hears the door creak open and Duel is about to sneak out for a feeding. As he's standing outside the door, he looks to the left, no one's there. Before he could even finish looking to the right, Jester slowly places his sword to Duel's neck. "Where do you think you're going?" Jester said with a bright red glow coming from his eyes as they opened. Duel looks surprised at Jester's expression and goes "I thought you were an angel". "I'm half angel, and half demon" said Jester. Duel, still puzzled goes "How the hell did that combination occur?". "Long story..." said Jester, "...now tell me where you were going". "I was going for a walk" said the lying vampire. Jester's eyes glowed even brighter hearing that lie. "Like hell you are, now get back inside!" said Jester with his eyes tinting back down. Duel didn't take that one sitting down. Being bold, Duel draws his sword to Jester and stabs him. Jester looks down and laughs. "Are you done?" Jester smirks as he grabs Duel's blade and pulls the sword out of his chest. Immediately after the blade exits Jester's body, his wound healed immediately. Jester takes his sword in fighting position and goes "let's make this fair". The battle between the two was very long. Tristessa suddenly hears clashing of cold steel, looks from above the roof going "What the hell? Why are they fighting?". J-Man is awakened by the clashing of the blades. J-Man knows it's Jester's shift so he shrugs his shoulders and goes back to sleep. Duel suddenly gets struck in the arm by Jester's blade. Duel then backs off and makes a run for it into the forest. Jester goes after him barely keeping up with the extremely swift vampire. Running through the forest, Jester suddenly sees Duel just standing in front of a tree with his sword sheathed, but Jester knew better so he was still gonna attack. As Jester took a swing at Duel, he disappeared and Jester instead chopped the tree down with one swipe. Jester looks and listens around. Jester then sheathed his sword and said "Where'd he go?"
