I like to....
I'm a student at DePaul University in Chicago, Illinois. It's been a long road but I've survived so far. I've lived in Illinois all of my life and wouldnt think of leaving unless someone said i could go for free.
Dreams: I want to own a busines plain and simple. I like money and green looks good with everything. I've been thinkin about opening an internet cafe' for a while and that's the main reason im in college. I'm in love with computers and their ability to change the world. I want to find someway to stay "in" with this trend and make money with it.
I'm looking forward to traveling seomwhere in the near future. I'm thinkin of studying abroad at Sheffield, England at the moment. I'm a true electronic addict: a genre that includes house, techno, drum 'n bass and other great sounds. That's one of the reasons for going to England besides to study. Euro House has had a strong effect on me. Bands like Basement Jaxx and Daft Punk have totally blew me away with their amazing DJing abilities. Daft Punk's Homework, along with Basement Jaxx's, Rooty will remain in my CD player for a long while.
I play a lot of video games. This is what essentially fueled me to get into college. i've always loved to play them and the fact that consoles, like Gamecube are computers make me want to enter the programming field. Metroid Prime, Lord of the Rings: the return of the King, and call of duty have all made my time spent in front of screens virtually priceless.
Hmm, what would a website be without a bit of my history. I was born on the West side of Chicago in '85. I spent the first few years of my life in a private school, almost eight then the family made the move out to the North Suburbs, Lake County. There i would learn the true meaning of the saying, "you don't know what you got until it's gone." I couldn't stand the surburb that i lived and and too this day dread the thought of it. I yearned for the trains, cars, and buses of the city not the quiet simple life of this run down town. the town we moved to happened to be in shamblesand would get no better. the best the city had to offer was alcohol and drugs and that remains to this day.
My High school was a joke. being a small town as it was the people seemed to remain in everyone else's business so i kep't friends to a minimum and watch them very closely. As much as i like to talk and listen to other people's stories I always had a thing about keeping my business, mine. So you could say for the four years i was in high school I kept my head down until it was safe to come up. I didn't do that literally but i didnt want to accept this suburban trend. this slow and easy way of life. everyday i promised myself when i graduated i would go to a college in chicago. but its just my luck that i would end up back in lake county because my SCHOOL RAN OUT OF SPACE IN CHICAGO!!!! it's ok now but if i dont get space next year somebody will have to die... or be hurt really really bad. haha!!
