Todas Las Noches
Record label: Delsin (The Netherlands)
Format: 12"
Release date: 8 March 2002

About a month ago, I heard a track that I can’t get out of my head. It was from the Metro Area 4 12-inch – really beautiful throwback to ‘80s dance music, minus the cheese factor. Kinda new wave, kinda disco, and really warm and inviting. So far, my search for the single has turned up empty, but I think I found the next best thing...Meet $tinkworx, a North Carolina-based artist originally from NYC who’s been wowing those fortunate enough to come across his other releases on Rush Hour and his own Down Low imprint. Todas Las Nochas marks his first for Delsin Records, a label that is quickly becoming a force to be reckoned with in underground dance circles. This latest single is a mixture of many different breeds, a hybrid of deep house and full-bodied techno sprinkled lightly with electro. Throughout these five tracks, one can hear ‘80s new wave as an influence and the spirit of disco in its heart. Absolutely essential for the lounges and could very well get the dance floor caught up in its spell if dropped in the mix at just the right time.
