ALTAiR DISCOVERS ANCIENT TABLET!

In the news this morning, the new up-and-coming Shadow Synth band, ALTAiR, uncovered an old stone tablet in the Himalayan mountains. On a routine expedition, Aaron, the band's drummer, saw what appeared to be a simple flat rock partially buried in the hillside. Upon return to their secret recording studio (dubbed "The Lab"), they soon realized it was much more. Etched into the tablet's surface was a huge Summerian text detailing the possession and use of a "device" known as the Ancient of Days. Erik, ALTAiR's synth man, translated the writings using his newly built Cray-333 supercomputer. Apparently, the long forgotten text was intended to be placed in the middle of the Old Testament.

This is interesting news, in light of one of ALTAiR's earlier releases titled "Otherworld," a concept album which describes an alien device used by the Isrealites in their quest for the Holy Land. Although carbon dating has proved the tablet to be a genuine article, the writings have been largely ignored by the religious community. ALTAiR intends to distribute copies of the translation, and there are plans to release a sequel to "Otherworld" in the near future.
