Pictures: Allow me to share some of my most memorable moments during my service to my country.

US Army, Basic Combat Training, Ft. Gordon, Georgia. Attended basic training from Jan-Mar 1977. This photo shows military uniform in the late 70s. There has been a dramatic change in military uniform of today.

82d Airborne Division. My first duty assignment was in Ft. Bragg as airborne paratrooper. The first picture was taken in Eglin Air Force base during a major field exercise in November 1977. Second was our return trip from Eglin Air Force base, Florida to Ft. Bragg, North Carolina via I95.

Operation Desert Shield and Storm, November 1990-June 1991. Deployed to Saudi Arabia for Operation Desert Shield and Storm. First photo taken on front of captured Iraqi tank. Second photo shows one of several scud shelter bunkers we built. We spent many hours in these shelters due to constant threat of scud attacks.

Operation Joint Endeavor, January 1995-July 1996. My last and most challenging and rewarding deployment. Initially, I opened and ran a regional electronics and computer maintenance facility and the second part of this deployment, I served as Mayor for Camp Rumbaugh, Bosnia. First photo shows large equipment and shelters used to run maintenance operation. Second shows my six by eight feet of living space. This was my home for six months. Of course I made the best of it.  .

Finally, a family photo taken while stationed in Darmstadt, Germany. I managed to take a family photo prior to my retirement from the United States Army.
