Assistive
Technology Usergroup (ATUG) is being formed to bring together users
of Assistive Technology (AT) those who seeks to gain a more in-depth
understanding of the latest state-of-the-art equipment available. The
focus will be not only on computer related AT products but all technology
used as assistive aids for those with special needs. It is also the
purpose of the user group to keep the members abreast of current and
future trends in the Assistive Technology Industry and participate in
the dissemination of information to the general public in those related
areas. In addition, it would be the intention of ATUG to also share
the experiences of current users of the technology and its practical
applications within the social and business environments.
