Many triodes have one, two, or three, diodes in the same envelope. These are intended for use as detectors in radio or television receivers. The diodes have very

low current ratings ranging from 1 to 5 mA. The voltage rating is rarely stated. It is recommended that these diodes not be used to rectify power line voltage.
