Connecting the PLL to a tube type A M radio. The PLL Local oscillator is shown equipped with an RCA type phono jack. A plug is shown mating with this jack. The plug is connected to a length of shielded cable. At the other end the shield is connected to ground. The center conductor is connected to the tap on the oscillator coil. The bottom end of the coil is grounded. The coil is tuned by a variable capacitor. The top of the coil goes through a capacitor to the first grid of a pentigrid converter tube. There is a resistor from the grid to ground. Values are not given. These components are part of a radio and they are what they are in your particular set. The cathode of the tube is grounded. End verbal description.
