Electronic Voice Phenomenon is the receiving of anomalous voice, via electronic recording devices, which are virtually unexplainable. Devices used include, tape recorders, computer sound programs, video equipment and television as well as telephone and answering machines. There is an increased number of researchers who are now beginning to receive messages mysteriously showing up on their computers, both in audio and text form. The voices are not heard during the recording, but only upon playback. Many of the voices address the experimenter by name or answer questions posed to them. Most all are comprised of short phrases or sentences, rarely being over four or five words long, but there are increased instances of much longer messages being recorded. Virtually anyone can succeed at receiving voices through EVP as there seem to be no psychic talents necessary to obtain the voices. It has been found however that mindset plays a large role in success and increased instance of receiving EVP voices. This is a fascinating field of study that is all but unknown to the general public. Any type of tape recorder will do as long as it's in good working order.Try to use a normal or high bias tape when it's possible.Run the tape for at least 30 minutes.Try to avoid any talking during this process.

Any talking that need to be done should be either done in a normal tone away from the tape recorder or best yet pass note's if its possible.

When playing back the tape.Listen very careful for some of the voices might be very faint and mixed in with the background static.Where other voice's will be heard clearly

Having access to a sound mixing board might help to filter out unwanted background noise. Some time the voice's will be on the backside of the tape itself.

Once you get the hang of it.Try asking the ghost questions and ask the sprit to speak into the microphone.
