When we first got to the hotel, there was a lot that needed to be done. Originally, JB Johnson was going to have a pneumatic lifter. After hours of vigorous work, we learned this was not fesible. Instead, we decided to leave JB as a brick. We had two 15 cell packs- 18v in parallel. We were driving 2 Atwood Mobile (Chiapuah) motors, run on two 24v Victor883. With only a 4:1 reduction, this baby hauled. We mounted a section of angle iron in the front, to serve as a ram. This was to intentionally buffer impacts from the high KE bots out there (ie: Helios). Here you see a picture of JB as the plow was being mounted.

Here's a glimpse of what the arena looked like early in the morning. This was before the mob of red necks and hicks gathered to watch us destroy each others bots. Hah!

Now here's a shot from up in the stands. Suprisingly, there were a lot of people who stopped by to watch. I was happy with the turn out.

Here's a shot of myself (center), Ryan Sargent (Left) and Sean Langelier (Right). None of us had slept in two days, so naturally we look like crap. Ryan was working on Tammy Dumptruck (6lb) and Sean was in the back doing what he does best (Dremel)!

Here's a shot that Eric Scott's girlfriend took when we were all feverously working on Belladonna, his 18lb shuffler, to get it repaired before the next match. We worked quickly and efficiently, it was great fun!
