Well Alkador is gone and SPG is gone, and paulz_69 cannot run a division unless a suitable candidate is found, so I am going to take the initiative and start running some Spec Ops missions. I don't really believe in crazy side ranks for Spec Ops members, but people who complete missions will be more respected and will be more likely to receive promotions than those who do nothing.

The main missions we will have is controlling portal awards. The Army is a force not to be reckoned with and the awards that we can actually manipulate is underdog, review, and turd of the week. So we will try and press certain flash forth that can receive review and underdog that I know of.

But here is our objective for turd of the week, some people try for turd because they are attention whores, and we don't want this to happen because if it happens once more attention whores will try for it again. So I am initiating a Turd of the Week watch. I will have you guys look through the portal and find flash that can receive Turd of the Week and we will judge those flash and see who is trying for Turd, the ones who are trying for turd we will fifen until they are out of the danger zone, while the others we will just let run their natural course. There will be a thread for this as well as the other awards.

Daily future is still difficult to controll...Well, it's a good idea sir! I'll help with it. But, we don't have really much active members in the special ops...THat's becauseof the required VP of 5.25.....Shouldn't we lower that...?

I don't know if it would make much of a difference. If we lowered it, we would have the lower voting powers in the Special Ops which would essentially have the same effect as one higher level user. I say we just leave it the way it is.

you are right lieutenant, but thats where you go wrong....true, we dont have much members. But the idea of the special ops is to have the officers gathered and have an elite NGarmy powerhouse, as in a matter of speaking.

Jacked joe, Thank you for reviving the special ops. I'll try to be very active on this one too to encourace its revival.

Good plan. Good to see Special Ops undergoing a bit of a revival.

Current favourite to get turd is this:

Score is 1.49, and the next closest contender is on 1.52. After that, the next closest is currently at 1.56. None of those three appear to be going deliberately for turd.

i'm new to this whole thing sir but shouldn't the bulk of the ngarmy be to mark out or make artists popular or not becides turd of the week or wat not? i mean im my opion like u said we r a force not to be reconded with shouldn't we pull our resources and just try to make certain portal artists bigger then others becides turd of the week? thanx for ur time

Ok, it seems special ops is of intensive care and nearly going real smooth. Now, we have this other thingy in our little army here that isn't yet quite the succes it was ment to be: the chat room.
I think all of us special ops members should propogate having spammy messages posted in the chat room instead of in the normal forums, they really "crap up" the topic. We could post a topic with a poll: why dont you use the chat room? And then, people could give hints how to improve.

next to that, it might help to revitalize Special Ops by having something like the review crew has, a free talk in which you post posts that dont realy have a place. In trhe special Ops, we could name it "officers talk" instead of "free talk"

This aint going down lets manipulate those scores!!!
But I think missions should be mailed to the menbers of spec ops as well as post them because I always check my E-MAIL but dont always come to the site but thats just a lame idea.§
