Whats it 2 ya was developed for one reason, for me to have a place to rant, rave or otherwise bitch about whatever I feel like ranting, raving or bitching about on a particular given day. I am sure these things will change on a daily basis and most will have little to do with the important things in life.

I'm not a doctor, I AM GOD!
I try my best not to rant and rave about work on here. Who really cares about my job? I am sure you don't. However I beleive that the public should be aware of how much of a jackass most doctors are. People often don't realize how bad doctors treat their co-workers and how often A nurse has to go to bat for u. 2 make a long story short, my patient, we will call X was very sick. I called Dr.Ass to let him know that his pt.X condition was not good. Dr.Ass's solution? Send X to the emergency room. Well this is all fine however, most people at a certain age and circumstance, choose to stay at their home and die in peace. This was patient X case. As I explained this to Dr.Ass and that I only called to possibly have a order to give X something to make them more comfortable (such as pain medication, oxygen etc.) Dr.Ass says: "Well my medical opinon is that x should go the emergency room and if x does not want to do this that is x's decision" WHAT????!!! Wouldn't it have been easier to say yeah, give x some oxygen. I tell ya if I had been in the same room as Dr.Ass i would have put him in a choke hold until he begged for oxygen, and then I would matter of factly say, sorry gonna have to go to the emergency room for that, yes I know I have some here, but a trip would be much better for your dying ass.

Laziness is rampant!
Maybe its just me, or is it true that every generation of Americans are lazier then the one before???

My age group (21-24) have been in the workplace now for a few years now give or take depending on how long we spent in college. I am now starting to welcome into my chosen profession (Nursing) new graduates and beginners. Maybe its just been my experiences, but what a bunch of laziness I see. Whats worse is that I am now starting to see even another generation come into the workforce (17-20). And most of them are even lazier then mine. Heck mine is 10 times lazier then my parents and grandparents ever thought about being. As Americans we have become accustomed to a somewhat stable economy and working parents. My generations mothers usually worked at least part time, and often us kids were spoiled to a certain extent. Most of us had the chance to graduate highschool and attend college. All at our parents expense. I am speaking in general terms here, the majority. I know that there is an exception to all of my points here. I am not calling all young Americans lazy. Just most. Yes some of us worked our a*ss*s off in highschool and college and paid for everything we have (I did pretty much!) but the majority did not. The point I am getting to is this...if we keep getting lazier, what will this country be in 10-15 years. When mom and pops on a low income because they have not saved very much for retirement and we can no longer depend on them for help with the car payment, or gas money? What will happen when we can't even get a teenager to go to school because they have to actully do something there? It personally scares me to know that my little brothers generation (18-21) is the next wave of employees to come into the work force. My little brother was raised with the same parents and same circumstances as myself, I love him to death but him and his friends are the laziest sacks of doodoo I have seen! They whine because they have to work 40 hrs a week which doesn't leave enough xbox time, or have quit their partime jobs so they can start college this fall. In nursing, it has been commen practice to hire young people fresh out of highschool to train and provide care to the patients. We call them CNA's (certified nursing assistants). A few weeks of training and a state test later they are expected to be knowledgble enought to help patients with things like bathing and toileting. We usually hire 10 or so on a monthly basis, train them and put them to work. They whine,b*tch, and complain as soon as they are expected to do anything. We usually retain 1 out of every 10 in the first month and usually 0 by month 2. At this rate there is an alarming shortage of qualified individuals to provide neccessary care to patients. Sorry such a long rant here...just kinda p*ss*d me off tonight when I overheard two kids b*tching because they are on the work sched. for 40 hours this week. 40 hours! I am going to say it, even though I am sure I will get hate mail anyhoo...THIS RANT DOES NOT APPLY TO EVERYONE THIS AGE...only most.

Get out and find some happiness.
I overheard two people talking. One was complaining that she always feels depressed. The other one (obviously who has never suffered depression) said well my mom always told me to "get out and find my own happiness, its not gonna come to me!" This got me thinking about how absured this statement really is. Where would one go to find this happiness thats just out there waiting to be found? I could be sucked up right now and plopped down into Disney World (u know the happy place) and I would not find happiness. I am pessimistic. I would probably be pissed off that something sucked me up and away from the comforts of my home and my laptop. I guess what I am saying is that anyone that has any experience with real depression would find the humor in "getting out and finding your own happiness". I swear that the other day on my way to work I was the only one getting rained on. No one else had their windsheild wipers on! (of course this may be contributed to my crazy obsession of raindrops on the windsheild. I can't stand it. Not even one!) But to get to the point, some people just don't get how depression is a real disease. How debilitating it can be to its sufferers and why some people will never find happiness. Someone who has not experienced depressions clutches onto their heart and soul will never ever understand. As a survivor of major depression I understand.

Link-o-the-day: Take some time to realize that no matter how weird or f*ck*d up you are there is always one (or in this case several) people even more f*ck*ed up then you are. Want proof? Give the folks over at the "Zit Fetish" site a visit. You can even look at their most sought after zits in Kodak Moments detail. http://www.livejournal.com/community/zit_fetish/.

And how did a perfectly sane person like me find this zit fetish group? Type "stupid websites" into a search bar and there you will find lists of stupid websites all gathered together to entertain yourself with for hours.

The most annoying thing on the internet.
Surfing the net tonight reminded me of the most annoying thing ever. As you visit my "link-o-the-day" you will see it in action for yourselves. You know the little box that appears from out of nowhere that says "would you like to install and run this (crapola filled spyware) program? And the best "click here to alwasy trust content from www.illdowhatyoutellme.com". HELLO If I wanted to "install" the crapola program wouldn't I have visited www.illdowhatyoutellme.com and asked for the program? Anyways....

Link-o-the-day: One of the first usefull internet sites I have found http://www.insultmonger.com. Perfect for finding the perfect insult for every occasion.

Certain People...
Ever notice how sometimes "certain people" just really get to you? They have a way of pushing that last exposed nerve you have blowing around in the wind? I know all the sayings..."Don't let them get to you", "why let it ruin your day" etc. etc. But you know some asshole always seems to do it. The worst of these kind of "certain peoples" is one in the whole fam damily. You know the ones...they piss you off...you speak your mind...then you got the whole fam damily split in two. Two sides that is. So you are left to stew in your own pot of pout all by yourself. Unless you speak and still hear about it next christmas.

And on to another thing I want to include in this mindless ramble, a awful/weird/stupid/offbeat/just plain dumb/sick or entertaining link-o-the-day. First one: Too bad the bidding has ended...or you could have had yourself a used blow up doll!!lol http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=1467&item=5501862293&rd=1
