Wanted: Thieves, Camera Turners, Freshmen?

This year has been an odd one at OLMA. Calculators have gone missing, only to have it found out they had been stolen. Things have gone wrong in the computer room with no suspect due to camera's being turned towards the walls. The whole computer system crashed due to someone downloading programs that eat our computers. You can no longer leave anything out for more than ten minutes without it going "missing".

Everyone BUT the freshmen blame the freshmen. The consensus is that nothing went wrong any other year, before this year the students were allowed in the computer lab at almost all times, rooms weren't always locked, the students had more freedom. Since the "problems" have started up this year, people are apt to use the new class as a scapegoat.

However, it could just as well be the sophomores, juniors, or seniors, or a mix of the three, no one really knows (except the thieves themselves.) The only thing everyone DOES know, is that it is no fun not being able to do homework on the computers because they don't work. It is no fun to have teachers breathing down your necks because the students are no longer trusted. It is no fun to have to make sure everything gets put in your locker for fear of theft. It would be nice if OLMA could get back it's old environment of trust and friendship.

If you have problems with the school, keep them to yourself and let your fellow students who are comfortable remain so without so much suspicion going around.

Lunch

The new lunch program has finally come to OLMA, and hungry girls are overjoyed! Bigger lunches! More money… Though the costly side of the lunches have annoyed some, it does not seem to bother most. Having the vending machines shut off during lunch is a bit of a setback, but most girls get around that by buying what they want at break. Now, if only they could find away around that ridiculous line, we would all be fine.
