Playing against:
Psychatog- This type of deck revolves around usually 1 creature, the Psychatog. This deck is usually heavy on counter magic along with creature removal (i.e. Chainer’s Edict, AEther Burst, and Innocent Blood). This deck usually only has 4-8 creatures, 4 being the ‘Tog. To beat this deck in the first game you must keep creatures out, save the Circular Logics for creature removal. The 2nd and 3rd game can become a little bit easier, I would sideboard Puppeteer, Seedtime, and Compost. Replace them with the AEther Burst and Quiet Speculation. This should help out with the speed against this deck and the quicker killing of it.
“Tribal” Decks- These decks usually consist of 1 creature type (Zombies, Goblins, Elves, and Soldiers). These can be beaten easily and even easier if you sideboard in Engineered Plague for the Quiet Speculation. Having a Wonder in the graveyard will also make it much easier to beat all of the tiny blockers.
Mono-Black Control- The only way to beat this deck is to out race it. Sideboard in Compost for 2 AEther Burst Throw in Roar of the Wurm for and AEther Burst. If the deck is running Megrim put in Naturalize and Tranquility to get rid of it.
Beatdown- Produce more creatures and bounce all the creatures they control back to their hand with AEther Burst. The only real thing you might want to sideboard is Puppeteer so you can tap their creatures allowing for your creatures to get through easier.
