Location: Allis Memorial Center - Library

An immense area stretches out both upwards and horizontally. Squarely
shaped, the library is carpeted in speckled blue and gray, except for a
five-foot strip extending around the walls, which has been tiled in
reddish tan and light russet squares. In these areas shelves reach upwards
to thirty feet overhead, spaced apart by long, one-foot wide windows.
Periodically a large wooden ladder is visible, should one wish to risk
their neck for one of the dusty volumes perched so high. Occupying a space
near the front wall of about twenty square feet abound round oak tables,
supported by four thin legs and surrounded by chairs with blue cushions.
The rest of the room holds what must be hundreds of bookcases, all packed
with books of old and new, various sorts separated into labeled cases and
those placed in similar sections.

Colby nods slowly. "Now we're getting somewhere..., though I'm not one into fully bullying people and making people life's miserable as well without some type of /reason/, otherwise what's the point of revenge?" he says as he finishes up his coffee. He continues "I agree that this place is /boring/ as it does not pertain to MY taste, doesn't meant that we cant spice it up for our own accord." He states. "What about you?"
Taking a deep breath, Pascal laces her finger behind her head and leans back again in the chair. "It's fun to get a rise out of people," she remarks casually, eyes never diverting from Colby. "It's fun to see them get angry when all I have to do is say one little world." She shrugs. "It's so easy anyway, to the point where I don't particularly even need to use a hex." A slight chuckle and her voice darkens. "On the occasion though, they'll think they're the top of the world and try to say something not particularly smart. You know how it is."
"Yes, pushing someone /off/ the edge is amusing." Colby grins darkly. His eyes never leaving hers. "Thing that anger me is I don't like to have more trouble and hassle on my hands then what I dish out to them. You know what I mean." he says.
Still leaning back in her chair, Pascal gives a slight shrug. "I know what you're saying," she pauses to moisten her lips. "But that's what you've got little hexes and charms you can use." She smirks, her eyes gleaming as she still stares at Colby. "Shuts them right up good. And really, half the time they don't even go to tell the professors. They're too chicken, because they know you'll get them good next time."
Colby chuckles. Yes, the temptation of darker magic and power in general is like an an aphrodisiac for him. "Well, was there something you had in mind on what we could do?" he asks as he leans back in his chair, his eyes still on Pascal.
"It's exam season," Pascal muses more to herself than to anyone else. "I'm quite frankly really surprised that there's not more people in here." She takes a look around, but the library has filled up somewhat since she first entered. "We ought to do something with the books, you know." She snickers lightly and continues to think to herself. "I'm not sure what... but something simple. Something that'll be a pain in the ass to reverse."
"We could lace the books with a stinging charm. They try to touch the books, they're hands are stung. Simple charm, would be hard to reverse and since there are so many books it would be a pain in the ass.." Colby says quietly while still pondering. "Unless you have a better idea?" he asks as he blinks his eyes again.
"That stinging charm /could/ work," Pascal continues to muse, finally sitting back up and leaning against the table. "But wouldn't it be /more/ rewarding... if.." she pauses and takes a look around the library carefully. "If we could make it seem like /all/ the words in the book were... erased?"
Colby grins evilly. "Yes.. that sounds like a very good idea.. and how we do something of that?" he asks as he looks around the library making sure know one is trying to be nosy.
"I know a simple invisibility charm..." Pascal opens the book in front of her and stops looking at Colby. She flips through the book for a few minutes, and then pulls her wand out of her robe. Again, she looks around the library, and mutters a few words, pointing it at the text on the page. Unfortunately, the whole book disappears. "Oh... damn," she hisses. "Maybe we could change the colour of the words, to blend in with the paper?"
Colby watches as Pascal attempts to make the letters invisible. "Well, you could always you an ink erasing charm" he stats with a glint in his eye.
Of course, she couldn't have thought of that brilliant idea. Feeling around for the invisible book, Pascal shoves it into her robe with a slight sigh. She allows a smirk at Colby though. "Let's get on it then. What should we start with...? Charms I books?" She can't wait to see the look on the 6th graders faces, really.
"Perfect, lets get on with it" Colby says as he finally slowly stands up and a soft curse escapes his mouth. "Damn chairs"
A wide grin spreads over Pascal's face, and she heads off to the bookshelves, namely, the charms ones, pulling a large stack out. She sits down in the isle between the bookshelves to hide herself, and whips her wand out, ready to work.

It would seem as if Sebastian and Edward are at it again. (For those who don't know, Sebastian and Edward seem to be part of the inner workings of the Scattergoods' Gossip System.) Today, the two boys are sitting in the library, where Sebastian is trying to hide the fact that he's eating a sandwich, behind one of the charms textbooks he's borrowed from the library. Edward comes up behind Sebastian and suddenly gasps.

E: Sebastian... what did you do??
S: I didn't do anything, Edward... nothing! (He says this with his mouth totally full, crumbs spilling out everywhere.)

Edward reaches forward and knocks the book down, revealing Sebastian, his sandwich, and crumbs everywhere.

E: Sebastian. Look at the book. Tell me what you see! (He says this rather frantically, drawing 'shhs' from all around.)
S: Uh... nothing?
E: Yes! Nothing! There's no words in the book, Sebastian!

Edward flips a few pages forward in the book, and to both his and Sebastian's dismay, the rest of the book is also empty; there are /no/ words in the entire charms textbook.

S: Uh.. I need that to study for finals, Edward. What did you do?
E: What did /I/ do? What did /I/ do?! I didn't do anything!

Both Edward and Sebastian fall silent and stare dumbly at the textbook in front of them. After an exhaustive search when they've collected their wits, they've come to the startling realization that every single Charms textbook in the library has mysteriously had all its words... erased. With finals looming, and there not being a single Charms textbook for them study from, what ever will our two heroes do?!
