n a time when we have torn our nation apart on whether we should wage war or not we must look at everything that is going on. We must look into what we face and why we face it. This war is multifaceted we are fighting for oil, yes; humanitarianism, yes; freedom, yes; politics, yes; and terrorism. We are fighting to put an end to something left unfinished hopefully to put an end to a regime so terrible that we can't even begin to understand will out looking to our dark side. As Americans we are taught that by right of birth we can speak freely and that we can do as we please as long as it doesn't harm anyone else. It is through these rights that we must look past as we look into a world where we are the strangers where we were the freest and we must understand that we move the world with our united voice. We must not let a governing union such as NATO or the UN decide what is right in the world we are the UN and NATO. When we provide 50% of both manpower and money contributed to the UN should we not have the right to stand alone. Who are the nations who oppose us: Germany; France, Russia; and China. How much have we contributed to them with out us there would be no France and Russia. Are we not the ones who have built China with our hard earned money, and are we not the ones who lead the path for a modern Germany. I think that our foreign opposition hates us because of who we are not what we are doing they wish they had the power to move the earth, to change history. "History will be kind to me for I intend to write it." Winston Churchill
