Docaran, head of The Order
In Debello Sabbatum, only the most gifted of horse handlers were allowed near Tizona. These men were known as The Order of the Tides. Their ability to sooth any creature is nearly legendary, though they are not mainstream for lords and ladies due to their reputation of being unstable...in other words, you would have to be mad yourself to trust one of these men with anything of value. Amongst the Order are the council. A governing body that consists of Docaran at its head, Althessa, Zorich, Collidin, Galen, Mithelsmune and Felonius. Mishlan, mysterious son of Zorich, has yet to be raised to The Order, but it is apparent that he knows much more than he lets on. They are known to run out into the nights, howling like possessed animals as they tear fistfuls of their hair from their heads, and are also recognized as having power of dangerous levels. Coincidentally, even N'Kari recognizes the dangerous combination of instability and position of power (As seen through himself), but he knows that they are loyal to him in the extreme. It is for this reason that he allows The Order to take care of affairs that he deems unworthy of his attention and are allowed to attend to Tizona.
Tizona is still relatively wild, a characteristic that N'Kari was sure would never go away since the day he first rode the mare. Tizona, named after one of El Cid's infamous swords, comes from an unknown breed, and not being an animal breeder himself, N'Kari has no idea of Tizona's origin, other than to say that he first saw the mare running from a forest fire. "The creature runs as like a blade through water." Along the way, N'Kari has come to acquire many other unique species of animals, each with own abilities that come in handy from time to time. Amongst these is the courier bird, Ipplefan. Ipplefan, whose feathers glimmer in the hint of moon's light, was bought from one of the market's finest shops as a gift for Lysandra, but seeing as how the bird was never brought to much use, N'Kari started using the creature as a message deliverer between himself and Debello Sabbatum, though, to whom in Debello he communicates with is yet a mystery.
