Your Voice, It Chased Away All The Sanity In Me

A portion of the broken spires of Debello Sabbatum's outer walls. Contrary to belief, Debello Sabbatum is not just a castle or a city housed within walls, but in fact the remnants of the capital of a once famed kingdom called Delencia. Its unique location, buried within the mountains at the crossroads of many trade routes, has lead to an influence of dozens of different cultures at different stages in their history within its architecture.

This is the Solitaire bridge, named after its traditional role to be a place of solitude to reflect upon oneself. The building in the background is house to N'Kari's slaves, if they are so gifted as to be allowed entrance to the city. The bridge has not found much company as of late, for the master finds it hard to reflect on such troubled times

Cathedral of St. Velan, which lies in the heart of the city. Named after the first saint of the city, said to guard Debello Sabbatum from evil spirits. N'Kari met St.Valen shortly after he had entered Delencia and decided to claim the kingdom as his own. It was a paradox, that St.Valen would be both the first victim of Delencia and also the man that N'Kari revered and built this cathedral in honor of.

The second gate into Sabbatum, this scene depicts both the solitude and the environment that is most common during N'Kari's reign. In the early 15oo's N'Kari first passed this gate which lie behind the city's two, twenty-three foot tall oak and iron banded doors. At that time they were nameless, but they have since come to be known as the Weeper's Gate. This gate has later been revealed to be the focal point of the city. In deciding Delencia should be his own, N'Kari killed tens if not hundreds of thousands Delencians that lived within the city walls, stacking their bodies at the gate so that none could escape. Men, women, children. It didn't matter, for this was the time of bloodlust and conquering. St'Valen himself hung from this gate. It is from this time on that the city kingdom has been slowly dying, and only the remaining residences' fear of N'Kari and The Order keep them within the city. Weepers Gate is truely a sign of both N'Kari's power and the cruel nature that hides beneath that pale and emotionless surface.

From N'Kari's palace leads this path out to his garden...     Maintained by the miniscule peasantry left within the city once again, after Lysandra's private garden pulled away Syn from tending to it. The workers are mostly an unseen sort and manage to keep out of the lord's way, and for good reason. The last time within the garden, N'Kari had been driven insane from grief at the Weeper's gate, fleeing from Lysandra and Syn. Though it was common enough for the residence to see this, these two were yet unaware at the connection between these city walls and N'Kari. Lysandra would find N'Kari later that night, after the sky had rained blood, after the spirits of dead Delencia had called out the names of the girls. They found him here, in the garden, and his deeds were further revealed. It was on this path to seeking the mad lord that they would first run into Mishlan
