P.S. 206 is a PreK -8 ethnically diverse school dedicated to the whole child. Our ELL, P.C.E.N., Reading Recovery, Project Read, Gifted Eagle, Project Arts, Fit-for-Life, Balanced Literacy, and Math Resource Programs meet and challenge students skills. Special programs in science, computers, health, art, music, and physical education follow the District 22 Core Curriculum and the NYC Performance Standards. Programs involve college interns from Brooklyn College, Kingsborough, and Pace University. Among annual events we have Theater Night, Center Celebration Dance, Toys for Tots, Art Fair, Science Fair, and educational after-school programs. The SLT works collaboratively with parents.
