I am highly motivated; When I set my sights on
a goal it gets done. It is impossible for me to tackle anything
half way. Social Studies is a lifelong love which I hope to share
with my students. EDUCATION
1986-1990 Attended and graduated from Norwood High
School.
1993-1995 Attended and received a Bachelor of Arts
degree in History from the University of Cincinnati (Cincinnati,
Ohio); graduated Magna cum Laude
1999-2005 Received a teaching license in Integrated
Social studies; seeking a Master's Degree in Education from
Xavier University, Cincinnati, Ohio. EMPLOYMENT

2000-2001 Observations and
lesson presentations at: Newport Middle School,
St. Bernard High School, Summit Country Day, Lafayette Bloom Middle School, and Wyoming Middle School.
Fall 2001 Student Teaching at Newport Middle School.
2003-2004 Substitute Teaching at both Reading and
St. Bernard-Elmwood Place districts. I substituted for all
subjects at the Junior and Senior High Schools of both districts.
2004-2005 Substitute Teaching at
Reading School District.
In addition to substituting short term, I taught for six weeks in the
special education department, I did a month-long review for the Ohio
Graduation Test, and I administered the OGT as well. LICENSURE
FIELDS
My license is in Integrated Social Studies. Thus I am licensed to
teach World history, American history, Economics, Political Science, or
Geography. COMPUTER
SKILLS
I am proficient in the use of presentation and word processing
software, and have the know-how to construct and maintain a web
page. I can also use the Internet to effectively research.
I can use grade-book and attendance software as well.
