Happy 20th Birthday!

Not too long ago, I was taught the importance of 'words.' Not just in how to use them as a weapon, but how important and sentimental they can be when given at the right time, especially when they come straight from the heart.
Naomi, my girl, I know I don't have all the money in the world. I know I don't have all the postage in the world. And I know that you could not care less about either of those things. So I shall give you the one thing that money can never really buy and something I can always afford.
My own gift of words.

You're now 20 years young. How do you feel? Any different from when you were nineteen? You're no longer a teenager. You're truly a young woman and I am ever so proud of you for making it so far. You've done so much for me in this past year. You've taught me to live and to love and to know that there are some people out there who do love me back.
You have become my everything and while I cannot repay you fully for the gifts you have given to me, I want you to know just how much you mean to me by doing this for you.
I love you, Naomi. And I hope I make you smile, laugh, cry, and maybe all three at once. Just so long as you know how much I care for you.

And now, let us get on with the presents!

Lily Evans:
The first time I ever met Naomi, had to be through this Muse. Though she was playing both Hermione and Lily on the rpg, we both took a personal shine to this lovely young lady first and foremost. She was my introduction into the world that was solely my love.
Ever quick to spot the good in people, it was this glorious Muse who taught my own how to laugh in the face of strife, how to submit to a proper Dark Lady and, most important, how to dance in the rain and atop Notre Dame.

Hermione Granger:
Whether she's Mudblood Jailbait or the savvy young woman who only cares for making a difference in the world and grinding her snake-skin boots over Mr. Malfoy, she's one of a kind. Devoted, loyal, and dangerous when pressed or PMSed, Hermione is as delightful a Muse as any I've ever met.
My girl's main Muse, the only one who could ever talk back to Lucius, and Tom's lust object, all mixed into one delightful product.
She deserves two of her own, simply for the two men who love her dearly.

Minerva McGonagall:
I never thought she would rub off on me. "She's too old" my inner self stated. "Just who would she look good with?" Surprisingly, quite a few people. From Tom to Moody to even *wrinkles* Dumbledore. A surprising Muse with a fantastic accent, a very nice fashion sense, and a penchant for attracting young and uprising Dark Lords.
Minerva has it all. And all the regrets in the world to show for it. The woman deserves happiness. Here's hoping I can give her some. But then, angst is ever so my forte. And when Tom is in the picture, sadness is never far behind.

Ginny Weasley:
Ah, sweet, innocent Ginny. So tainted by Mr. Riddle. We all know Ginny's story. A Muse created for me by my girl if only to satisfy a certain other Muse of mine. Since then, we've gone on to create Inkstained and if it wasn't for the creation of this little girl, Tom would've never met Hermione and created such UST between the two of them.
Wait..
Ginny is a class act of her own and, despite the darker nature of the relationship she shares with Tom, fluff is still so very appreciated. Twisted fluff, yes, and loaded with angst, but still so beautiful. I mean, who wouldn't want to have a handsome, powerful, youthful Dark Lord lving in their head?

Narcissa Malfoy:
Last but certainly not least, this Muse either helps take Lucius to a new level of tenderness and trust, or serves to kick his arse right back into place, normally at her side. Tough as nails with everyone, damond hard with Nott, and passionate with her husband, Narcissa is a force unto herself.
It still amazes me as to how this character came together so thoroughly. A background history, a few quirks, a few gimmicks, a Gift or two, and a wonderful Grandmother. Lucius couldn't ask for a better wife.
And I couldn't ask for a better love than the girl who created her.

And since I'm not one to leave without a little game, I shall simply inform you that somewhere on one of these pages above, there is a hidden link reserved just for you.

I adore you, Naomi. And I hope you enjoy your card/present!

Love,
Aimee

I've got sunshine on a cloudy day,
When it's cold outside,
I've got the month on May.
I guess you say,
What can make me feel this way.
My girl,
My girl,
Talking about my girl.
I've got so much honey,
The bees envy me,
I've got a sweeter song,
Than the birds in the trees.
Well, I guess you say,
What can make me feel this way.
My girl,
Talking about my girl.
I don't need no money,
Fortune or fame,
I've got all the riches baby,
One man can claim.
Well, I guess you say,
What can make me feel this way.
My girl,
Talking about my girl.
I've got sunshine on a cloudy day,
With my girl,
I even got the month of may,
My girl,
Talking about my girl,
Talking about,
Talking about,
My girl,
My girl.
