My name is Mark, though I get called by my nicknames more: Markus, Marky, Mr. Mark, Marky-Mark, Quiet Boy, and Boo. I am 26 and live in Western Australia. For the last 6 months I have been studying Business Management, before that I have been working in the communication electronic servicing industry. In my spare time, I Ballroom and Latin dance, I go to the gym with Chloe, hang with friends, and enjoy writing poetry.
This is my First attempt at building a webpage, and there is alot I can add when I get some time to think and scan, so please...bare with me. :)
Back in 1983 when I was 6 I started playing Tee-Ball in the community’s juvenile team, in 1984 I played Football as well, by September that year I traded my track shoes for ballroom ones and started to learn how to dance, within 5 weeks I was partnered up and began competing, at the same time I started medal training (lessons on technique that you get examen on) though my competing life was cut short after 6 months when the studio I was in closed down after the principals separated, I moved studios and focused on medals until the end of 1987 when I stopped dancing. In January 1988 I moved to a different primary school and played Basketball for the school team, I played soccer for the school team in '88 and '89 as well. In 1990 I turned 13 and started year 8...first year high school, and stopped playing sports. For year 11 and 12 (1993/94), I helped in a small ballroom class run at the school for people wanting to learn some basic steps ready for the school Prom, being the only guy at the prom who could dance, the girls made 'ME' the sport at both events!!! *Wicked evil grin* February 2000 I started participating in social dance classes at the local dance studio, I soon moved back into medal training, and now demonstrate the guy steps in the social classes. Took a break from medals in 2003 while studying because I couldn’t afford the lessons, but I still go in to help when I get some time. 2001, 2002 and 2003 I worked at the Western Australian Dancesport Open Championship in the marsheling area, controling straying viewers wanting to go see the competitive couples warm-up back stage, and to make sure the couples were ok while they wait.
This year... back to training, and I have a competitive partner lined up!Cathy (Pictured below,) was my dance teacher from 1985 to the end of 1987, this picture is of Cathy and her daughter and was taken in October 2002 at the Western Australian Open Championship.

This is me (the little guy pictured below) when I was 7, I was dancing with my first teacher at a caberet night back in 1984. One guess where im looking at in this picture?! ;)

Below is a picture of my first dog Sally who passed away in Feb. 2003. She was a pure-breed BlueHealer.
Kelly was a pup in this photo, we got her a couple of weeks before Sally passed, She's just over a year old now.
There isn't much time where im not doing something, generally in my spare time im at the gym, at the movies or going for drives with Chloe, every now and then when schedule's line up I go clubbing with Jay and Weng.
