Our first career workshop was run in concert with the Fremont Police Dept. Teens met police officers and learned what it takes to be an officer. There was a CSI (Crime scene investigator) that showed how evidence is collected at a crime scene. Teens had a chance to talk to some dispatchers and learned how complicated their understated job is. Everyone walked away from the workshop with a new respect for Fremont's uniformed heroes and a new understanding of law enforcement.
