The Star
Drawing the Star the individual needs to make use of their creative faculties and spiritual inspiration. The problem they face has them isolated, like a star in the sky. They have had the ability to inspire others in the past, and must now find a way to be inspired themselves. The Star sees the balancing act between primal and spiritual as unnecessary at this stage, and now seeks to develop the true self.
The image is of a woman pouring two jars of fluids empty. One is the fluid of spirituality, akin to water. The other is the fluid of primal energy, akin to blood. These fluids, when released, nurture the environment. She is nude and bare to that harsh environment, no longer clinging to false ideals or social obligations. In the tree beyond her, a primal beast calls out, a reminder of the urges which she still must nurture in herself to be a whole being. This image includes all four of the alchemic elements in balance; air, fire, water, and earth, suggesting this balance is now a part of the natural state of the individual.
The structure of this image focuses attention on the mind, the higher self. At the exact center of the image is the woman’s forehead, symbolic of the third-eye of enlightenment. This is the point of inspiration which the individual must draw from.
The traditional meaning of this image indicates inspiration and creativity.
