Lucifer

Drawing Luna indicates a harrowing of some sort, a warning of trials ahead. The individual will be tested, and must prove their self-worth and spiritual endurance, or will find themselves in a situation which is alien and confusing to them. Luna's affect on the mind is to cause delusions, over-active fantasy, and confusion. You may find yourself in this state, and must strive to keep your vision clear.

The image is of a river of blood flowing through a waste-land. At is mouth is a crayfish, the primal representation of the Luna force. At either side of the river are the wolves of the dualistic self; those energies in their lowest form. In the background are two towers, again representing that duality, but now in a form that is stoic. In the sky above the scene is Luna herself, in her spiritual aspect. The individual must traverse this river of blood, avoiding straying toward one urge or another, and seek out the higher aspects of Luna over the lower.

Luna is potential the darkest card of the Tarot. It represents what Jung referred to as confronting the shadow-self, the trial reconciling the conscious and subconscious minds. The traditional meaning of this image indicates confusion, a tendency to be deluded, and insanity.
